Meet our team
Matt Lampe, DVMDr. Lampe is a graduate of Oklahoma State University's college of veterinary medicine, and has been practicing equine medicine in Dallas/Fort Worth for 12 years. He specializes in advanced dentistry, lameness diagnostics and treatment, and preventative care and wellness. Dr. Lampe has built his practice on a basic foundation of caring for the horse. As his practice has grown, he has brought on other veterinarians in order to continue the upmost level of service and quality.
Dr. Lampe shares his home with his wife Amy, their two children, three dogs, cat, three donkeys, horse, and cows. He enjoys spending his free time with his family, working on their farm. |
Emily Hughes, DVM
Dr. Emily Hughes graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She completed her last year of vet school at Texas A&M, but also received her undergraduate and master's degrees from there. After graduating vet school, Dr. Emily completed her veterinary internship at Texas Equine Hospital in Bryan, Texas before joining our practice in June of 2020. She primarily does routine preventative care and wellness, but also sees lameness cases and has a greater interest in equine reproduction. Dr. Emily is also working to complete her Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist training to provide alternative medicine options for our equine patients and is a current member of TEVA, AAEP, and the AVMA.
In her free time, Dr. Emily enjoys spending time with her family and her 3 Corgis - Wesson, Oakleigh, and Kimber. |
